Our hearts are heavy as we announce the passing of William Lowell Farrington, known to most simply as Bill. Born on October 3,1961, Bill lived a life full of laughter, generosity, and adventure until his passing on October 21, 2025.
Bill was easily recognized by his signature cheesy smile and quirky jokes that could brighten anyone's day. He was the kind of person who would offer a helping hand to anyone in need, and once he started talking, he could keep the conversation going for hours - much to the delight of those lucky enough to know him well.
He was deeply passionate about his beloved beagles, his semi-trucks, and the wild beauty of tigers. He admired cherry trees and was rarely seen without a Stanley's Thermos full of coffee in hand, ready for wherever the road took him. Baking was one of his many acts of love - especially when that meant three cakes and two pans of brownies made just for his wife.
Above all, Bill loved being a father and grandpa. He is survived by his daughter, Melissa Mitten; his son, Austin Farrington; his former wife of 35 years, Dori Farrington; his brother, Ed Farrington; and his sisters, Wendy Brown, Gail Mowry, and Pat Daily. Bill also leaves behind many grandchildren who will carry forward his humor, his heart, and his adventurous spirit.
Bill's memory will forever live on in the countless lives he touched and the love he gave so freely. He will be laid to rest beside his parents in Alpha Cemetery, where those who wish to visit him are always welcome.
