Robert “Robbie” E. C. Peckham, 65, our beloved husband, father, brother and uncle, passed away peacefully on Monday, May 18, 2026, with loved ones by his side following a massive stroke.
He was born on May 3rd, 1961, in Everett, Washington to the late William S. Peckham and Darlene R. Tewault. Though born in Washington, Robbie grew up in California until the family moved from the Bay area to Glenoma, WA in 1969 and later relocated to Centralia. He loved spending time on the family property with his beloved horse, Smokey and dog, Bear. Spending time with his five siblings and all of the shenanigans they endured, riding dirt bikes and driving his Ford Bronco on the rugged terrain brought him endless joy.
In 2002, he met his soulmate, Lisa M. White, and they were married privately in Anchorage, Alaska on May 11, 2002, and publicly on August 17, 2002. On May 12, 2004, they welcomed their son, Benjamin Robert Peckham.
Robbie always said that he was a jack-of-all-trades and was very talented in using his hands to build, fix and create. He earned a Certificate in Welding from Charter College in Anchorage, Alaska and graduated in 2013. He used his knowledge and skills to work on anything with a motor but was especially drawn to working on boats. He could always be found with the biggest smile when he was fishing and out on the water.
Robbie enjoyed spending time in the great outdoors especially camping, fishing, going crabbing, hunting, snowmachining, and of course boating. He adored animals and children, and they always seemed to be drawn to him by his easy charm and demeanor. Many wonderful memories were made as he took countless trips, zooming around Lynx Lake with a boatload of kids on his little red Zodiac. He took great pride in the work he completed on his last boat, a Bayliner Trophy that he refurbished with the intent of selling to help finance the recent move back home to the state of Washington. Remembered for his resilience, humor, and generosity, Robbie made a lasting impact on everyone he met. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends and colleagues.
Robbie was preceded in death by his sister, Cathy B. Earley.
He is survived by his wife of 24 years, Lisa of Ryderwood, WA; son, Benjamin of Castle Rock, WA; sister, Terry (Lenard) Dorning of Grand Coulee, WA; brother, Steve (Kitty) Peckham of Goodyear, AZ; sister, Lorie (Brad) Grasmick of Chehalis, WA; and brother, Tim Peckham of Winlock, WA; along with numerous family members and dear friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, June 13, 2026, at 5:00 P.M. at Winlock Livingstone Assembly of God located at 702 SE 1st St, Winlock, WA 98596.
