Robert (Butch) Eugene Schoonover

Robert (Butch) Eugene Schoonover, born June 18th, 1943, in Homewood, Kansas and passed away peacefully with family at his side on May 20, 2025.

He was a Coast Guard Reserve and Navy Veteran, serving on the USS Constellation. He married the love of his life, Nancy Dolan, on December 16th, 1961. They were happily married until Nancy’s passing, March 24th, 2019, now together once again.

They both retired from the Boeing Company and spent their golden years calling Ryderwood, Washington home. They loved Ryderwood and their community. Butch had his weekly poker games with the guys and Nancy enjoyed the many Women’s Club activities and her volunteer work.

They leave behind many friends and family that will miss them greatly and remember them fondly.
