Peter Ray Ward

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Peter R. Ward, on Friday September 8, 2023.

Peter was a resident of Randle most of his life. He graduated from White Pass high School in 1986 and would later marry Lisa, his high school sweetheart. In 1994, they were blessed with a daughter, Chelsea. Peter worked at Fred Meyer in Tacoma, then WTD and PLS, after moving back to Randle.

Peter suffered a traumatic brain injury in 1996, resulting in a lengthy hospitalization and rehabilitation. Peter eventually healed well enough to live on his own with some assistance from family and friends. His hobbies were collecting aluminum cans and scrap metal. Although he didn't profit much, he enjoyed getting out in the community and socializing with others. Peter was a cheerful, loving guy that enjoyed making people laugh.

Peter is survived by his Daughter Chelsea Trummert, Granddaughter McKinley Anderson, Grandson Eastan Trummert, Granddaughter Evelyn Trummert. His Mother Colleen Cooper, Brother Darrell (Dayna) Ward, and Sister Melanie (Stan) Pyles.

Peter is preceded in death by his Father Merrill Ward, Sister Dawn Ward, Brother Kevin Ward, Sister Sharon (John) Mullins, and Grandson Kolton Anderson.

A Celebration of Life will be held in Peters honor on Saturday, October 14, 2023, at the Family Worship Center in Randle, WA.
