Patricia May Stafford

Patricia May Stafford was welcomed into Heaven by the Lord on September 19, 2025. She was 77 years old. She was a Christian who lived her life by faith, kindness, and joy. She found purpose in serving God and sharing his love with others.

Patricia was born May 1, 1948, to Elvin and Mildred Childres in Madill, Oklahoma. As a child her family moved often, living in Oklahoma, Colorado, Texas and ending up in California. She graduated from Sierra High School in Whittier, California. Which is where she met Larry Stafford at the age of seventeen. They knew each other for only two weeks when they got married on February 9, 1966. They worked through life together for the next 59 years. They had two children, Mary Lee and Larry “Bud” Jr which were the joy of her life.

She had numerous jobs throughout her life. When she retired in 2014, she was an Insurance Agent. In retirement she enjoyed spending time with her family, traveling and camping. Pat had a special gift for bringing people together. She created countless memories filled with laughter, love, and togetherness for so many people.

Patricia is survived by her husband of 59 years Larry Stafford, daughter Mary Squibb, son Larry “Bud” (Melissa) Stafford, granddaughter: Emmalee, grandson’s: Lucas, Carter, Even, Levi and Andrew, great grandson’s: Lawson and Mackxten, sisters: Angela Morkert, Lisa Simmons, Jennifer Gwartney, Brother: David Elliott. As well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Pat will be most remembered for her love of God, her kindness to everyone she met, for her fun parties where everyone was welcome and her beautiful smile. Though Pat will be deeply missed on earth. She will forever be in our hearts. We rejoice in knowing she is in the loving arms of the Lord.

Graveside service will be at the Napavine Cemetery October 9th at 1:00 pm. Cookie reception to follow at Bethel Church from 2-4 pm. Family and Friends are invited to gather in remembrance.
