Michael A. Wells of Winlock, Washington, was born to Sam and Dorothy Wells on March 12th, 1959, in Toledo, Washington. He passed away peacefully at home on November 21st, 2025, at the age of 66.
Mike was a devoted father to his children: Chris, TJ, Shan, Josh, and Kim. He worked for Weyerhaeuser Company as a pulp and paper specialist and retired after 32 years of dedicated service.
Outside of work, Mike enjoyed farming and woodworking, often milling his own lumber with his own sawmill. He even built his first home—an A-frame—in Vader, Washington. He loved riding horses, spending time outdoors, and was a proud member of the NRA.
Mike is survived by three sons: Christopher Wells and his wife Mandy of Vancouver, WA; Thomas Wells of Odessa, TX; Joshua Lomen of Woodland, WA. His daughters; Shantel Helland of Kelso, WA, and Kimberly Lomen of Longview, WA. His sister Sandy Morris of Chehalis, WA, and brother Robert Wells of Goldendale, WA, along with 8 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents Sam and Dorothy; his brother Steve Wells; his sister Christine Tryon; and his nieces Jennifer Wells and Karissa Morris.
Food and beverages will be available beginning at 12:00pm. with a memorial service at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 6, 2025, at All Tribes Christian Life Center, 91 Progressive Road, Wapato, WA. and the graveside service will follow at Zillah Cemetery, 100 1st Avenue, Zillah, WA.
Arrangements are under the care of Fir Lawn Funeral Chapel of Toledo, WA.
