Born June 14, 1955, in Gardena City, California, Melody was deeply devoted to her family and took great pride in being a wife, mother, and grandmother. Known for her compassion, loyalty, and dedication to those she loved, family was always at the center of her life. She was an avid animal lover and enjoyed camping and spending time at the beach.

Melody is survived by her husband, Patrick R. Winters; her children, Benjamin (Taylor) Winters and Elizabeth (Douglas) Fletcher; and her grandchildren, Lucy Fletcher, Maxwell Fletcher, Sebastian Winters, and Sage Fletcher. She is also survived by her sister, Diana Hedgers, and nieces, Rianne Ham and Kellie Hedgers. She was preceded in death by her sister, Julie Fenwick, and her parents, Rollon Harden and Sharrell Hart.
