Joann Rohrbach, 86, of Onalaska, Washington, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her family. She was born April 7, 1939, in Nelson, Ohio, to Harold and Edna Pinkerton.
Joann is survived by her daughter, Bonnie Grinnell (Keith Whitecare) of Ohio; her son, Kenneth Rohrbach of Washington; and four grandchildren: Amy Bradley of Pennsylvania, Sarah (Charlie) Satterfield of North Carolina. Douglas and Samantha Shetler of Pennsylvania. She also leaves behind 6 great-grandchildren—Taylor, Summer, Cecilia, Preston, Carley, and Thomas—and two great-great-grandchildren, Reya and Landyn.
She is further survived by her brother, Harold Pinkerton; her sister, Sarah (George); and many nieces and nephews; Stephanie (Tim Zeismer) and Susie Frase, including her favorite nephew, Darrell Pinkerton. Joann was a descendant of the late Allan Pinkerton.
Joann loved spending time with her family and enjoyed gardening and planting flowers. She carried a strong love for the Lord throughout her life.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her son, Robert; her infant grandson, William; her brother, Billy; her sister, Hazel; and her sister-in-law, Faye Pinkerton.
Interment will take place at Alpha Cemetery. A memorial service will be held at The Living Stone Assembly of God, 133 Leonard Road in Onalaska on Friday, November 21 at 4:00 p.m.
