Jeffrey Michael Malone

December 27, 1963 — June 15, 2025

Toledo

It is with great sorrow and sadness in our hearts we must announce the passing of Jeffrey Michael Malone, husband, father, son, brother, uncle, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend who left us to join our lord in eternal life on June 15, 2025, at the young age of 61.

Jeffrey was born on December 27, 1963, in Newark, Ohio. In the last week of his life, he fought to stay alive because he did not want to desert his family. As we stood by his side, we begged for him to just go to the Lord and his new eternal life, knowing one day we will be together again.

When he was younger, he bought a Schwinn cruiser, he wanted the color to be chestnut brown, but the Schwinn shop only had a black bike. Jeff bought the bike, painted it brown, changed all the parts, and made it into a BMX cruiser. He was a perfectionist. He loved making models, especially truck models, and would spend all day painting, detailing, and putting them together. Jeff also loved racing remote-controlled cars. As a young man he and his friends would sit on the bricks of his front yard and talk about what kind of cars they were going to drive and how they would modify them. As Jeff got older, he loved going to car tracks to watch car races.

Jeff worked for a printing company for many years in California as a foil press operator. Then he went to school to get his dream job of becoming a truck driver. He drove for two concrete companies for over 30 years and in the end worked in our small town of Toledo, Washington at the grocery store. It was here that he enjoyed the employees and the customers. Jeff always liked helping people.

Jeffrey is survived by his wife Debbie; mother Joanne; daughter Michelle and husband Peter (Jimbo); son Danny and wife Diana; brother Dave and wife Susan; sister Diane and husband Dave; sister-in-law Candy; mother-in-law Rachel; sister-in-law Jeanine and husband Fred; brother-in-law Manuel; grandchildren Sebastian, Christian and Audrey; great-granddaughter Gemma and many wonderful cousins, nieces and nephews.

Jeff was preceded in death by his father Hayden, older brother Steven, his grandparents, aunts, and uncles.

His service will be held at Fir Lawn Funeral Chapel in Toledo, WA. located at 351 North 5th St on Friday July 18th, 2025, at 12:00 noon, with a small reception to follow.

Though his earthly form will forever be missed and loved, his spirit will continue to guide us and watch over us every day.
