Janice Darlene Rohrig, 77, went to meet her maker on March 25, 2025. She was born in Stites, Idaho on June 2, 1947, to Goldie and Gene Packer. She attended school at Clearwater Valley High School in Kooskia, Idaho. After high school she attended secretarial school in California.
Janice moved to Seattle to become an Advertising Secretary for the Pay ‘n Pak Company. She met and married Lewis Rohrig, and they had and raised two children.
Janice was involved with the Cowlitz Prairie and Lewis County Pomona Granges for 56 years. She was also in the Toledo Garden Club, Lone Yew Sewing Club, Toledo Senior Center, and a member of the Lewis County Fair Association.
She is survived by her husband of 56 years Lewis, her daughter Michelle Edge (Dennis), son James Rohrig, and her twin brother and sister Eddie Packer and Debbie Brotnov, as well as many nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life will take place at 1:00 PM on Sunday June 15th, 2025, at Cowlitz Prairie Grange at 5184 Jackson Hwy, Toledo, Washington with a potluck served by the ladies of the grange.
