Jack Lloyd Cartwright went to be with the Lord on May 18th, 2026, in Onalaska, Washington. He was surrounded by family on the farm that he loved.
Jack was born on November 10th, 1941, to Dessy and Florence (Denton) Cartwright in Shelton, Washington. He was raised on his parent’s berry farm in Dieringer, Washington. He graduated from Sumner High School in 1960. In 1965 he was drafted into the army and valiantly serviced his country in Vietnam. Upon his return he stayed near his parent until he moved his family to the farm in Onalaska in 1977 where he spent the next 48 years.
Jack is survived by his 10 children: Jennifer, Jamie, Jacquie (Chris), Carmella (Jeff), Alicia (Levi), Kayla (Daniel), Melodie (Dakota), Kalika, Sean (Leela), and Jade; his 13.5 grandchildren, and his 1.5 great grandchildren. As well as innumerable friends.
He is proceeded in death by his parents Dessy and Florence Cartwright, his brother Doug and his sister Betty Cartwright Neugent.
Jack loved God, his family and friends and his farm. His faith never wavered even when things got hard and always looked to the Lord to guide him. “For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.” (2 Timothy 1:7).
